We specialize in minimally invasive procedures for the spine and general musculoskeletal conditions. These procedures are relatively quick to perform, are dramatically effective, and require little to no recovery time. The majority of our procedures are performed on an outpatient basis in our fully equipped procedure room. Most of our procedures are painless and require only local anesthetic. Depending on the procedure, patients typically leave our office within minutes of the procedure and report recovery from their pain symptoms within days.
For most of our procedures we use fluoroscopic guidance which allows us to precisely inject low doses of medication directly at the source of pain. In addition, at times we use live ultrasound to better guide the injections. These image-guided techniques allow us to deliver the medication directly at the source of pathology and minimize systemic uptake of the medication. These innovative procedures will help you to get back to the life that you want and will help you avoid invasive surgery. The procedures we perform are medically proven, highly effective, and very safe.
Our treatment plans also include physical therapy. Complete recovery from most painful musculoskeletal conditions should begin and end with high quality, intensive physical therapy. We understand that the quality of physical therapy varies in the marketplace and can direct you to those therapists we know provide excellent care. Furthermore, we provide you a detailed therapy treatment plan that specifically addresses your medical condition. We also specialize in optimization of medications. In addition, we have a network of other healthcare providers including Psychologists who specialize in pain, Accupuncturists, Massage Therapists, etc. to whom we refer. Lastly, we work closely with both Orthopaedic and Neurological surgeons and readily recognize that surgery at times is the only solution for certain conditions.
